Regular price $18.00

Unit price per

Undyed 60% Zwartbles 40% Exmoor Blueface combed top, natural grey and brown, UK raised and milled, 100 gram bumps.

This lovely blend combines two wonderful fibres into one wonderful top!

The Zwartbles sheep breed originates from Friesland in The Netherlands but is now widely farmed across Exmoor. They are a naturally dark brown sheep with distinctive white blaze from the top of their heads to their noses, two white socks on their back legs and white tips on their tails. The fibre is voluminous and bouncy yarn with a wonderful depth of tone.

The Exmoor Blueface is the result of crossing rare-breed Exmoor Horn sheep to Blue Faced Leicesters. Their wool is strong, lustrous, and has a wonderful spring to it.

This fibre is appropriately 30 microns.

Sold in 100 gram bumps, undyed.

Care: Wash in cool water, lay flat to dry.

**Please note: I have made every attempt to photograph the colour as accurately as possible, but colours may vary due to differences in screens. There may be colour variations between skeins, and therefore, it's advisable to alternate skeins in multi-skein projects. I dye in small batches, so please ensure you purchase enough yarn to complete your project, as yarn from another batch may be different.**
