BARN OWL FINGERING - 100% Canadian Wool Fingering Weight Yarn
The sister to popular Barn Swallow Sock yarn, this yarn is made from the same wool at the same mill - all that's missing is the mohair! I've already started two sweaters from it, and it's bouncy, non-itchy, and has a lovely lustre to it. Stay tuned for a sweater design using this yarn!
Barn Owl's wool is sourced from a flock of sheep with Dorset and Coopworth genetics that are used for wood lot grazing in Ontario, and it's spun at Wellington Fibres, one of our wonderful small Canadian wool mills. Non-superwash, 3 ply, and 405 yards per skein - a great yarn for everyday use, and excellent for socks, too!

**Please note: I have made every attempt to photograph the colour as accurately as possible, but colours may vary due to differences in screens. There may be colour variations between skeins, and therefore, it's advisable to alternate skeins in multi-skein projects. I dye in small batches, so please ensure you purchase enough yarn to complete your project, as yarn from another batch may be different.**
