Another beautiful local yarn! The Cotswold fleece used in this yarn came from the Inish Eile flock on Pender Island. It was spun at Custom Woolen Mills in Alberta, where it was blended with Canadian Rambouillet to provide a woolen-spun yarn that’s lofty, strong, and soft. Perfect for cold-weather items such as mitts, toques, or even a heavy-weight sweater.
Cotswold sheep originated in the Cotswold District of the UK, and were once the foundation of the British wool trade. These days, they are endangered in the UK, the United States, and Canada. Purchasing this yarn supports the preservation of these large, gentle animals, as well as contributing to biodiversity for future generations.

I make every attempt to represent the colours of my yarn accurately, but please know that monitors/screens and lighting conditions all present colour differently. If you have questions about colour, please do get in touch - I can provide more photos or details.
Please note: I consider one knot or join in a hank to be acceptable (it is more common to find knots in small batch/small mill or woolen spun yarns). Some of my small batch yarns are minimally processed, and may contain small bits of vegetable matter. If this is a concern, please do get in touch!
