This beautiful, soft bulky weight yarn comes from the Ponderosa Flock of purebred Shropshire sheep, located in the Okanagan of British Columbia. Shropshire sheep produce a strong, lofty wool that's warm and quite soft, especially when woolen spun. I'd use this wonderful yarn for mittens, hats, a thick cowl, or a heavy sweater.
Non-superwash, so please handwash this yarn!
Dyed skeins are on the way, along with 2 ply and 3 ply yarns from the same flock.
