100% Canadian BFL Sport Weight Yarn, 2 ply, 300 yards per 110 grams
This lovely BFL (Blue Faced Leicester) yarn is sourced from a small farm in Ontario and is spun at Mariposa Woolen Mill, which isn't far away from the farm! The 2 ply structure gives the yarn a wonderful loftiness and a bit more structure than a yarn with more plies, and tht shine!
This a small batch (the first of many, I hope!) and as such, a limited amount of this yarn is available. Please ensure you purchase enough to complete your project, because the next batch of wool from this flock will be spun at another mill.
Note: there are some slubs in this yarn as its fineness was pushing the limits of the mill. It's easy to cut them out and spit-splice it, or just leave it as is for a yarn with some textural elements.
