If you're looking for a hard wearing but light yarn, look no further! Shropshire sheep grown a bouncy, elastic wool that's durable and warm. Combine that will being woolen spun, and this yarn yields a light fabric that will stand up to wear and tear. Please note that Shropshire wool feels crisp in the hand, but due to its crimp structure, it tends not to poke the wear. However, this yarn is best for those who do not have sensitive skin (note: Catherine made her favourite sweater out of it and has no problem wearing it directly against her skin, but your mileage may vary!).

More colourways are on the way, along with a 3 ply aran weight, a Lopi-style bulky weight, and a lambs' wool fingering weight!

Sourced from Ponderosa Shropshires, a small sheep farm located in Lake Country, Okanagan, and spun at Custom Woolen Mills in Alberta. A 100% Canadian product!

**Please note: I have made every attempt to photograph the colour as accurately as possible, but colours may vary due to differences in screens. There may be colour variations between skeins, and therefore, it's advisable to alternate skeins in multi-skein projects. I dye in small batches, so please ensure you purchase enough yarn to complete your project, as yarn from another batch may be different.**
