This delightful woollen spun yarn comes from a small flock of Rambouillet and Rambouillet cross sheep that live near Vernon, B.C. It's so soft - pillowy soft, feather soft, squishy soft, and it is perfect for next-to-skin items and for those with skin sensitivities. While this batch has not been micron-tested, the shepherd routine tests her purebred Rambouillet, and the last batch came in at 21 microns. This yarn is even softer!

This yarn was spun at Custom Woolen Mill in Carstairs, Alberta. As it's woollen spun, it can be knit at a variety of gauges, but the loose the gauge, the more prone to pilling it will be.

As this yarn is from the 2022 clip, there is a limited amount available, so please ensure you purchase enough for your project as there won't be more until the 2023 batch arrives!
