BC-sourced BFL x Gotland DK weight yarn, 190 metres/208 yards per 100 grams, 3 ply
There is nothing quite as beautiful as a natural, undyed grey yarn, and these two truly shine! Sourced from the Barnston Island and Walnuthill Farm flocks (both of which are located in the Lower Mainland area of BC), this yarn was spun at Wellington Fibres in Elora, Ontario. It's three ply and has terrific drape and a lovely halo. This yarn may not be appropriate for those withskin sensitivities, but it will get silkier and smoother with wear, and I may nab a SQ for myself...
While both of these yarns are natural, undyed grey, there is a subtle difference between the batches. Batch #1 is slightly lighter and more silver than Batch #2 - please refer to the side-by-side photo to see the difference.
