Cashmere Reborn by Gathering Yarn
Once in a while, I come across a yarn that's just too good to pass up, and this is one - introducing Cashmere Reborn, a recycled cashmere fingering weight yarn! Recycled yarns take waste from textile production and put it back into good use. That's why you'll see that the official fibre content of this yarn is 95% recycled cashmere and 5% other fibres, because bits of thread and other waste may get added during the recycling process.
The great thing about this yarn is that it's a bit of luxury at a nice price, and it's good for the environment, too! At the moment, five lovely mill-dyed colours are available, but we'll be adding Small Bird Workshop hand dyed colours soon, too!
Each ball is 25 grams and 108 metres/118 yards of 3 ply fingering weight delight. We'd suggest using it for hats, cowls, a neck scarf, or for neckbands and cuffs on sweaters. And, if you'd like to try it out, have a look at our Enter Octopus hat kits that include this yarn!
