25% white Southdown, 25% grey Suffolk, 12.5% pruple Tussah Silk, 12.5% Pineapple, 25% grey Alpaca combed top, sold in 100 gram bumps.
Here's another blended combed top that I designed with sock spinners in mind! Southdown and Suffolk are Down breed sheep, and therefore, their wool is naturally resistent to felting (please test feltability on a swatch prior to machine-washing and machine-drying your socks!). Add to that the strength of pineapple fibre, the warmth of alpaca, and the sheen of a little bit of silk, and the result is a very lovely fibre that will make warm, strong sock yarn!
