Undyed natural white Canadian merino roving, BC sourced, Alberta processed, sold in 100 gram bumps
This is a rare fibre - Canadian merino! Sourced from British Columbia and processed into delightfully springy roving at the Rosebud River Mill in Alberta.
This fibre comes from two merino sheep that resided at Ponderosa Fibre in the Okanagan (they're pictured above). The staple length is 3.5 inches with a wonderful, even crimp. Spinning this fibre will be fun!
Care: Wash in cool water, lay flat to dry.
**Please note: I have made every attempt to photograph the colour as accurately as possible, but colours may vary due to differences in screens. There may be colour variations between skeins, and therefore, it's advisable to alternate skeins in multi-skein projects. I dye in small batches, so please ensure you purchase enough yarn to complete your project, as yarn from another batch may be different.**
