Undyed natural Southdown combed top
If you're a sock spinner, then Southdown is a breed for you! Southdowns have a springy, elastic crimp which makes for an elastic yarn, and it's naturally resistent to felting, too (note: always test this on a sample - resistance varies from sheep to sheep). This fibre also makes a great sweater yarn, and is particularly good for cablework and colourwork.
Dyed Southdown fibre is on the way!
