VERDIN - Recycled Cashmere Fingering Weight Yarn, 235 yards per 50 grams, 4 ply
At the Small Bird Workshop, we believe in doing all we can for the environment, so when one of our suppliers showed us this recycled cashmere yarn, we just couldn't say no! Sarabande is a fingering weight, 4 ply, recycled cashmere yarn - the label says 95% recycled cashmere and 5% other fibres, as recycled cashmere yarns are created from mill and manufacturing waste, and contain small amounts of other fibres, like cotton thread.
This yarn is perfect for anything you'd want to wear next to skin - think shawls, cowls, or the neckband of a sweater knit in a sturdier wool. Luxurious, deliciously soft, and good for the environment? Win win win!
This yarn is the same yarn as the Cashmere Reborn mill-dyed yarn that we carry, so if you're looking for charcoal, light grey, cranberry, or soft beige, you can find it in the Cashmere Reborn listing (Verdin pairs perfectly with Cashmere Reborn).
